A DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR ADMISSION OF NEW STUDENTS AT SMP NEGERI 1 ATTITUDE IN USING THE AHP METHOD (Analytical Hierarchy Process)

Abstract

This research was motivated by the selection of new student admissions at SMP Negeri 1 Sikap Dalam, which still has obstacles, namely the length of the selection of new students which is caused by the registration process until the results of the selection of new students which take a lot of time, resulting in ineffectiveness, and efficient in the activities of the new student admissions process at SMP N 1 Sikap Dalam, therefore the author took the initiative to build a system that can assist the school in making new student admission decisions, so that it can be more effective and efficient in its implementation. The software development method used to create a new student admissions decision support system is waterfall and software testing using blackbox. The result of this research is the new student admissions decision support system using the AHP method at SMP Negeri 1 Sikap Dalam was built using the PHP programming language and visual studio code by applying the AHP calculation logic in the system to determine the Final Selection Results of prospective students.
